TOUR OPTIONS IN :
1. Drop by the Negros Museum to check on local art and history
Modest showcase of Negrense cultural & historical exhibits, plus art & vintage regional toys. Negros Museums do feature exhibitions from different local and guests artists at its main gallery.
2. See the Rare Visayan Spotted Deer and other endangered animals endemic to the Philippines at the Provincial Capitol Zoo or Negros Forest Park (few minutes from Negros Museum)
This rescue and conservation center is located right beside the Capitol Lagoon on the South road. They are open Mondays to Sundays from 8am to 5pm.
3. Head on to the Provincial Capitol Lagoon (beside the Forest Park) One of the features of the park are matching sculptures depicting a woman standing alongside a carabao (Asian Water Buffalo) and that of a man pulling another water buffalo. These sculptures are located at the northern and southern ends of the lagoon. These figures were executed by Italian sculpture Francesco Riccardo Monti who also did the sculptures of the Metropolitan Manila Theater and the University of the Philippines - Visayas Iloilo campus. There's also a giant abstract sculpture at the front gate.
WHERE TO EAT: These destinations are near Ayala Capitol Central Malls and 888, a local Chinese-themed mall. Also there are fast food chains like Mcdonald's Jollibee KFC in front of Capitol Lagoon. There are are also local restaurants like Sugba Sugba near the place.
DOWNTOWN BACOLOD

1. Bacolod Public Plaza
At the heart of the checkered plaza is the historic bandstand landmark of Bacolod which was constructed in 1926. Around the plaza are sculptures on four fountains sculpted by Italian sculpture Francesco Riccardo Monti who also did the sculptures at the Capitol Lagoon
WHERE TO EAT: These destinations are near SM City Bacolod, Park Inn's Arima restaurant, S&R, Manokan Country, and Jollibee Downtown. Coffeeshops near to these landmarks are Ceylon's and Bascon Cafe along Cuadra St. and Jollibee. There's also Chowking restaurant at the Plaza mart building along Araneta st.
EAST SIDE OF BACOLOD

1. Megaworld The Upper East House and the Milling Train Relic
This township, which stands in the former land of a milling company, BMMC, features a replica of old Araneta house and a relic of a train which was converted into a Mcdonald's Sundae shop. Megaworld The Upper East has a Mcdonald's with a giant Masskara motif and I LOVE BACOLOD landmark. The place has a weekend market and a daily pop up cart night market near Landers Superstore.
3. Splash Park Bacolod
Splash Park is in front of BCGC and inside are swimming pools, rides and giant slides. There are also a large space for strolling and relaxing. A chicken restaurant, JT Manokan, owned by actor Joel Torre operates inside the vicinity. This park closes til 11 at night.
WHERE TO EAT: There are many restaurants near these tourist spots. If you like chicken inasal, there's the MassKara Chicken resto beside BCGC. The Villa Angela Hi-Strip buildings before Splash Park have many diners and coffeeshops. Also next to BCGC is the Marketplace where numerous restaurants offer unli-breakfast and eat-all-you-can buffet dinners. These restaurants are Hunasan, BBQuest, Grill Central and more. In front of The Upper East House is Lopue's East Department Stores which has coffeeshops, fast foods, and food carts. Inside Lander's is a restaurant and a Dioppio cafe.
TOUR OPTIONS:
1. LACSON RUINS
Located in Talisay City, Lacson Ruins is accessible via the airport access road and the main highway near the North Terminal of Bacolod. One needs to check the site of Lacson Ruins of schedules as these popular tourist spot usually holds events like weddings.
